Northern Soul at the Irish Club has been running since March 1997 and is always held on the first Saturday of every month, except on very rare occasions.  The entry fee is $10, payable on the door.

Everybody is welcome whether you're a hard core Northern Soul enthusiast, a lover of soul music in general or experiencing it for the first time.  You'll find a friendly, all-inclusive atmosphere with no prejudices towards or against any particular group of society.... we're all there for a good night out with like-minded people.

Our music policy is to play a range of soul genres on 100% original vinyl, but with an emphasis on the big anthems played at the iconic Northern Soul clubs of the 60s and 70s, ie: Manchester's Twisted Wheel where it all started, Blackpool Mecca, Stoke's Golden Torch and of course Wigan Casino, to name just 4.  You are very welcome to bring along your requests.
